Your account can be frozen due to a variety of billing issues, such as past due balances or because you’ve reached your spending limit. When your account is frozen, your campaign items are not eligible to run on Taboola’s network.
How Do I Know if My Account is Frozen?
Once your account has been frozen, the message in the image below will appear on each page of your account.
Your campaigns will not be live, and their status will be Frozen. Learn more about campaign and item statuses here.
You can still create and edit campaigns while your account is frozen, but they can’t go live on Taboola’s network until you resolve the billing issues related to your account. Your campaign items will not be running in Taboola placements until the billing issue is resolved.
Why is my account frozen?
There are a number of reasons why your account may be frozen. Below are some of the most common reasons and how to resolve them to get your account back live.
- Insufficient Credit - Your account doesn’t have any funds nor credit limit to use for your campaigns. To reactivate your account, you can add funds to your account or wait for the credit limit to resume on the first of the month.
- Billing Error - We were not able to collect payment from your card. To resolve, contact your bank to ensure your card is in good standing or try to use a different card.
- Other Reasons - There are select cases where your account may be manually frozen (for example, payment delinquency). If you believe your account has been manually frozen, please contact your account manager or support@ taboola.com to resolve.
*troubleshooting tip - we will automatically attempt to recharge credit cards, but some cards may take up to 24 hours to successfully go through. If it has been more than 24 hours, try to remove and then re-add the card to your account.
