Running Status Explained
Running- This means the campaign is live and running on the network. When your campaign is running, you may see the following statuses as well:
Running (Learning)- The campaign is running and is in it’s learning phase, which means the Taboola algorithm is learning the new campaign and it’s creative items by analyzing users' actions. The learning phase is the time period when your campaign performance is still stabilizing.
During the learning phase, we gather data to determine the best ways to serve your campaign (this process can take around 11 days). You may notice that performance is less stable and you may see fluctuations in CTR or cost-per-action (CPA), as these are both still in adjustment stages.
Running (Scaling)- In this stage, the campaign is running and is in it’s scaling phase. This means that our algorithm has collected enough data to serve your campaign more efficiently. We learn your campaign continuously, but at this stage, performance is more stabilized.
Understanding Your Campaign’s Progress with the Status Tracker
Taboola's Campaign Status Tracker gives advertisers increased visibility into the progress of a campaign’s phases, showing when their campaign is either in the "Pending" or "Running" stage. This feature is aimed at helping you make more informed decisions regarding your campaign, depending on its advancement, and will let you know how long each phase should take.
How to Check the Status of Your Campaign Items
To check your campaign status, do the following:
- Filter to the campaign you want to check using the Campaign Picker on the left hand side in Taboola Ads
