TABOOLA ADS - NEW VERSION RELEASED (December 10, 2020)

Newly Added Capabilities
- Added the ‘one by one’ ad creation flow (non variations).
- On Site Demo- Preview your ad on any publisher feed.
- A red indication was added to the Tracking tab when the Taboola Pixel is missing or not active.
Recent Improvements
- Added bid validation message for extra high or low bids (in case they are 5 times higher/lower than previous)
- Export report columns order is now according to the grid order.
- Showing now a validation message for audience reach when trying to target different audience types.
- Accounts who turned off view through conversions will see a message and a disabled option to compare.
- Add the option to search for audiences in the Audiences report.
- Added tooltip with description on the Audiences report.
- Added 'This Quarter' and 'Last Quarter' to the Date Picker.
- Added the campaign ID column into the Ads report on Taboola Ads.
- Added a legal disclaimer about image cropping to the Media upload section.
- Contextual segments - now showing number of articles instead of audience size.
- CPA Goal description text changed.
- Released performance improvements for large accounts.
Bug Fixes
- The Campaign Picker now has a maximum width for larger screens.
- Fixed Time Zone indication source.
- Fixed: Issue with editing campaign names with formatting characters.
- Fixed: Back button not loading account data after refresh.

- NEW GRAPHS added new bar graphs to the By Day of Week and By Hour of Day reports. Select and compare up to 3 metrics at once!

Newly Added Capabilities
- Ad Descriptions and CTA buttons are fully supported now, you can add them to new campaigns or edit existing creatives.
- New Preview which allows seeing multiple placements while adding new creatives or adjusting the focal point side by side.
- New Edit Creative Drawer for editing the new creative options- Descriptions and CTA. Just like the edit campaign edit drawer.
- Taboola Ads in Japanese! Yes, users can use a new drop down to select the language and the first one is Japanese. Korean coming soon.
- Support for Networks with Video Accounts- networks that have both video and native accounts can now access the video accounts with a new hybrid view.
- OS Targeting: New "iPadOS" family with - Target All, iPadOS 13, iPadOS 14 iOS 14 entry to iOS family add Android 11 entry to Android family
Tweaks
- Filters now are applied to the graph as well
- Export report improvements - export according to the filtered results only.
- Added the option for users to decide if they want to “load image and headline from the landing page URL” and removed the ADD button.
- Added 'Recent Creatives' filter.
- Site report- added the Bid Amount to all views.
Bug Fixes
- Export Region Report- exports only first letter of region- Fixed.
- Site report- Unable to remove auto blocker site- Fixed.
- Issue with the Preview appearing blank

Newly Added Capabilities
- Performance Video - enrich creatives with video. To add video, simply select a video file as part of the media upload process. You’ll then need to select a fallback image as well.
- Audience report added - see the performance of your campaign at the audience level
- 3rd Party Tags - add 3rd party pixels or JavaScript tags to capture your campaign data and deliver it to other platforms.
- Creative preview and focal point customization - preview your creatives on popular Taboola placement along with the ability to customize the focal point.
- Pixel and CRM Lookalike - target similar audiences based on Taboola Pixel or existing CRM file.
- Pre-Bid Brand Safety - protect your brand from serving on websites that do not meet your brand safety standards.
- Campaign bulk actions - save time by editing multiple campaigns at once. More bulk edit capabilities coming soon!
- Postal code targeting - you can even add multiple values separated by comma or a new row
- Campaign Profile section added - the internal-only configuration is now supported as well.
Tweaks
- Persistent customization of columns - when you navigate to another report and go back, your column customization will be preserved
Bug Fixes
- Login is slow to respond - fixed!
- Titles are cut in the creative creation form - fixed!
- In rare cases marketplace audiences are missing - fixed!
- Sorting by conversions isn’t working as expected - fixed!

TABOOLA ADS - NEW VERSION RELEASED (August 3, 2020)
New Capabilities
- The Recommendation Center is live! Take advantage of best practices recommendations for your campaigns. To view your personalized recommendations, click ‘Recommendations’ on the top navigation bar.
- Account Balance - your current balance is now visible on the left of the Account Picker in the top navigation bar.
- City Targeting - you can now target your campaign to specific cities!
- Sorting in the Campaign Picker - sort your campaigns in the Campaign Picker by Spent, Creation Date or Name. To do so, in the Campaign Picker click the sort button near the search bar and select desired sorting.
- Search by Campaign ID in the Campaign Picker - to do so, simply enter the campaign ID in the Campaign Picker search bar.
Tweaks and Bug Fixes
- Issues with horizontal scrolling in the reports - fixed!

TABOOLA ADS - NEW VERSION RELEASED (July 21, 2020)
New Capabilities
- Multiple Conversions reporting - view the performance of all your set conversions in the reports. To apply, click the VIEW selector above the grid, select ‘Custom’ and then choose the relevant metrics of your conversions.
- Creative Preview - you can now see how your ad would look like in popular Taboola placements. To view, click the eye button on the right side of the Creative report.
- ‘Value’ and ‘ROAS’ metrics added - to view, click the VIEW selector above the grid, select ‘Custom’ and then choose ‘Value’ or ‘ROAS’.
- Search in the Campaign Picker - quickly find your campaign in the Campaign Picker by using the newly added search box. Searching by Campaign ID and sorting - coming soon!
Tweaks and Bug Fixes
- In Site report switching between Smart Bid and Fixed doesn’t work - fixed!
- Metrics are missing in the graph - fixed. All metrics can now be selected for the graph.
- Targeting with ‘Attentive Audience’ isn’t saved - fixed!
- Several issues with budget and bidding validations - fixed!

TABOOLA ADS - NEW VERSION RELEASED (July 08, 2020)
New Capabilities
- Marketplace Audiences targeting - use the brand new tree-view to search, discover and choose your desired audiences. You can also add multiple audiences by searching and using the ‘Select All’ option or ticking the sub-category to choose all its audiences.
- Campaign and Creative Trackers - you now have more info on campaign’s current status, estimated time to complete and visibility to the next steps. The trackers are available in Campaign and Creative reports.
- Browser targeting
- Sticky system notifications on depleting credit
- CPA Goal indication on graph - view the campaign’s CPA Goal on graph while a single campaign is selected.
- Week and Month graphs added - visualize campaigns performance in a weekly or monthly view. To view, simply select Week or Month reports.
Tweaks and Bug Fixes
- Flickering reports - fixed! No more flickering screens while changing accounts or reports.
- Changes to Site bidding and blocks causes the report to constantly reload - fixed!
- Pasting values causes the input field to reset - fixed!
- Creative landing page URL click-out button missing - fixed!
- Issues in Region and DMA reports - fixed!

TABOOLA ADS - NEW VERSION RELEASED (May 5, 2020)
New Capabilities
- Network support (!) you can now view and analyse data at the network level. You can even create campaigns and creatives while a network is selected - simply use the ‘Create’ button and select an Account as part of the campaign or creative creation process.
- Manually set bid boost per site - you can now type a specific percentage to boost or de-boost by. This comes in addition to the %10 boost steps.
- View all campaign blacklisted sites in the campaign drawer - whether the site was blacklisted for the single campaign or the entire account, you’ll see it in the campaign edit drawer. The account-level blacklisted sites are also presented in the new campaign form

TABOOLA ADS - NEW VERSION RELEASED (March 24, 2020)
New Capabilities
- Billing and Payments are now available in the Settings (gear) menu
- Help Center is available through the Apps menu - the minimal Help Center covers everything a Taboola Ads user needs to get started with Taboola
- Region and DMA reports added
- Viewable metrics added and are now the default ones - you can always switch between the metrics by choosing Custom in the View menu
Tweaks and Bug Fixes
- The default account was changed to be the last account used in the previous session
- New welcome screen added to eliminate confusion on the redirect behaviour from Backstage
- On Safari, Conversions and Audiences now open in a new Backstage tab - they will soon be supported in Ads Console as they are in Chrome and other browsers
- Graph now contain weekend indication - the greyed weekend coloring helps reading the graph more easily
- Graph metric colors were set to be permanent - popular metrics will always have the same color moving forward
- Bid Strategy setting in Site view was fixed
- Many additional small tweaks and fixes that make the new platform a better place to manage your campaigns

TABOOLA ADS - NEW VERSION RELEASED (March 05, 2020)
New Capabilities
- Apps menu for quick access to Backstage, Taboola Trends and Marketing Partners sections. Help Center is coming soon!
- Settings menu to access Account (Partner Management) and Users. Billing is coming soon!
- Column Picker - choose the columns you wish to see by choosing Custom in the View dropdown in the different reports
- Rejection reasons are now available for campaigns and creatives - hover on the ‘?’ to see it
- Day of Week report added - navigate to it by clicking the dropdown icon in Day tab
- Campaigns can now be opened in a new tab - right-click on a campaign and choose Open Link in New Tab
Tweaks and Bug Fixes
- Grids fonts changed to Roboto - for better readability and more comfortable analysis
- Lots of labels, tooltips and explanations in the platform were fixed and improved - it’s now even more intuitive
- Data inconsistencies in the platform were fixed - moving forward anything you change in Campaigns tab is immediately reflected in the UI
- Several minor tweaks across the platform to make it work even better for you :)
